What Data is Processed by AI

  • Search Queries: When you use AI-assisted search planning, your search requirements, business type descriptions, and location preferences are sent to our AI provider
  • Conversation Context: Messages you send in AI chat interfaces are processed to generate relevant responses
  • Usage Patterns: Anonymized interaction patterns may be used to improve AI feature quality

Third-Party AI Provider

We use Anthropic (Claude) as our AI service provider. When you use AI features, the data described above is transmitted to Anthropic's servers for processing. Anthropic processes this data in accordance with their Privacy Policy.

Data Retention for AI Processing

  • Conversation context is not permanently stored after your session ends
  • We do not retain full AI conversation histories long-term
  • Anonymized analytics about AI feature usage may be retained for service improvement

AI Training and Opt-Out

By default, anonymized and aggregated data from your AI interactions may be used to improve our AI features. This helps us enhance the quality and accuracy of AI-generated suggestions. You can opt out of this data usage at any time by contacting us at [email protected].

When you opt out, your future AI interactions will not be used for improvement purposes. However, we may continue to use aggregated data that cannot be linked to you or your organization.

What We Don't Share with AI

We do not send the following data to AI providers:

  • Your password or authentication credentials
  • Payment information
  • Complete lead databases or contact lists
  • Internal team communications or notes marked as private

4. Data Storage and Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. Your data is stored securely in MongoDB databases with encryption at rest. We use industry-standard security practices including:

4.1 Data Processing Agreement

4.2 Breach Notification

In the event of a personal data breach, LeadScoutr will notify affected customers without undue delay and within 72 hours of becoming aware of the breach, in accordance with GDPR Article 33. 5. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information only in the following circumstances:

5.1 Service Providers

We work with third-party service providers who perform services on our behalf. These providers have access only to the information necessary to perform their functions and are obligated to protect your data.

Our key service providers include:

  • Anthropic (Claude): AI service provider for AI-powered features. Processes search queries and conversation data to generate AI responses. See Section 3.1 for details.
  • Serper: Google Maps search provider for lead discovery from Google Maps and other public sources. Processes your search queries to retrieve business data.
  • Resend: Email delivery service for transactional emails (e.g., password resets, notifications). Processes your email address and email content.
  • MongoDB Atlas: Database hosting provider. Stores your account and lead data with encryption at rest.
  • Payment Processors: For paid subscriptions. We do not store your full payment card details.

5.2 Other Disclosure Circumstances

  • Legal Requirements: When required by law or to protect our rights and safety
  • Business Transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets
  • With Your Consent: When you explicitly authorize us to share your information
